From the 3-6th of December, 2005 Heather and I were in Paris, France.
We had spent a day in London (for my work) and took the Eurostar train from London to Paris and back. On the way back, I decided to break out my new GPS and give it a whirl.
It was difficult to get a signal until we were out of Paris and right as we came into London, so you will see the track fails there. The accuracy is not too bad, and if you zoom in over the UK, you can actually see the train tracks under the line.
One other note — that isn’t actually the location of the Channel Tunnel — lost signal shortly before entering and the GPS took a bit to reacquire on the other side.
